The EUDI Wallet Community Event EUDI ON 2026 brings together various stakeholders from the wallet ecosystem in Berlin and online. The focus is on exchanging insights into current use cases and progress within the Sandbox.

The Community reunites

With our innovation competition “EUDI Wallet Prototypes” (Funke), we brought together the European tech and identity community. The competition focused on developing and testing technical solutions, practical use cases, and a shared ambition to combine security, data protection, and user-friendliness. At the final, the most successful teams presented their EUDI Wallet prototypes.

Four EUDI Wallet prototypes were presented at the final event. Building on these results, the resulting exchange, and the significant progress made in the national EUDI Wallet project, we are now taking the next step: We are opening up the space, continuing the discussion, and bringing the EUDI Wallet community, as well as anyone who would like to actively participate, together again on June 25, 2026, for the community event EUDI ON 2026 - The EUDI Wallet Summit for Digital Innovators.

Real-World Use Cases

Against the backdrop of progress made in Sandbox testing, the Community Event will highlight where we currently stand: with concrete insights into our work, Wallet use cases and plenty of space for exchange and networking. It brings together key stakeholders, contributors, and interested parties from the EUDI Wallet ecosystem to share updates, exchange experiences, and look ahead together. In the run-up to the event, our first fully remote hackathon will take place on 4 and 5 June 2026, providing early impulses and picking up ideas from the community.

The Community Event itself starts on 25 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Cafe Moskau, Karl-Marx-Allee 34, 10178 Berlin. Further programme details and registration information will be published here shortly. Participation in the event is by invitation only; online attendance will be possible.
