In light of the progress made in sandbox testing, the EUDI ON community event showed where we stand: offering concrete insights into our work, hands-on use cases on site, and plenty of opportunities for exchange and networking. We brought together key stakeholders, contributors, and interested parties from across the EUDI Wallet ecosystem to share the latest developments, exchange experiences, and look ahead together.
A recording of the event is available here, and you can find additional photos from the event here.
Highlights included an opening address by Digital Minister Dr. Karsten Wildberger and a keynote by SPRIND Director Rafael Laguna De La Vera, an interactive exhibition area showcasing sandbox use cases from relying parties, and a panel discussion with European countries presenting cross-border use cases and exploring key topics such as security and data protection.
Ahead of the event, our first fully remote hackathon took place on 4 and 5 June 2026, generating initial momentum and tapping into ideas from the community. The winning teams presented their solutions at EUDI ON.
