Hagen‑Joachim Saxowski (Head of Unit DSII7, BMDS) presented how the EUDI Wallet can be integrated into modern administrative structures at both national and European levels. He also provided context on the role of digital identities. The session focused on secure digital credentials as a foundation for modern public administration and explored how user-friendly wallet solutions can simplify interactions with public services and create added value for citizens. It also addressed integration into existing structures such as BundID, NOOTS, and federal governance frameworks.
