The hackathon will take place online on June 4-5th 2026. Participation is possible either as an individual or as a pre formed team. For the first time, participants can work within the German EUDI Wallet ecosystem not only with Person Identification Data (PID), but also with Electronic Attestations of Attributes (EAAs). No prior experience with digital credentials is required.
Over two days, teams will compete across five challenge tracks — building real integrations, creative applications, and open-source tooling using the German EUDI Wallet ecosystem.
The best projects will be presented live at the EUDI Conference in Berlin on June 25th. Winning teams from each challenge track will be invited to present their results live at the EUDI Wallet Community Event, where audience voting will determine the overall winner.
The session will be held in English.
